With the 4-point angle, users can now measure the angle of objects that are too hard to measure when the intersecting points are not in the picture or prominent enough to see.
With DinoXcope version 1.3, a solution for some Snow Leopard users have been partially resolved. For the DinoXcope not to crash when closing the DinoXcope software it is recommended to leave the Dino-Lite or Dino-Eye plugged onto your computer before closing the DinoXcope software.

TAIPEI, Nov 3, 2009 -- AnMo Electronics is proud to introduce the Dino-Lite AM4012 series analog handheld microscopes. This is the next generation of analog Dino-Lite handheld microscopes designed and manufactured by AnMo Electronics which provides more natural color reproduction, brighter and clearer images in high magnification, and comes with all the benefits of the original AM412 series.
That means variable magnification depending of distance, bright built in LED’s to illuminate specimens, and of course easily connected and used. The AM4012 connects with an analog composite video output with resolution of 640x480 pixels, and includes a power adapter to power the Dino-Lite. It would be available in either NTSC or PAL video standards depending on the region you live in.
The AM4012 series will have features as seen on most of our popular models such as but not limited to adjustable polarization, 200x max magnification, and long working distance versions. The AM4012 series would certainly be a great companion for the home or professional user.

MicroTouch II was derived from the touch sensitive trigger made originally for the premium aluminum alloy models and now is featured on popular Dino-Lite handheld models. Now all AM411T, AM413T series, AD413T series, AM412T series, and AD412T series would be equipped with MicroTouch II. With the MicroTouch II, the touch sensitive sensor is now easier to find and easier to use. Users would now have less chances of triggering the on microscope picture taking button by mistake, and spend less time searching for the sensor. The touch sensitive trigger created to minimize blur while taking a picture; to have the ability to take pictures when users cannot touch the keyboard and mouse, is now easier to find and notice!

The mirror-angle scope has a 45 degree mirror in front of an Acrylic tube delivering the LED light for illuminating purpose, makes it suitable for applications requiring to view the object at 90 degree through the mirror, such as viewing the side wall of tubular object, or examining the printed circuit board at low angle for checking the soldering profile.

This version of DinoCapture incorporate feature allowing user to have better management over their picture or video file. Other modifications include the impriting of the scaler when saving the picture file. DriverUpDate Post date: 2008/12/24Dec 1, 2008 -- AnMo Electronics, the maker of Dino-Lite digital microscope, is pleased to announce today that it will begin the introduction of it's first dental camera product, the Dino-Lite Digital Dentiscope, which has been developing over the past two years.
The company's Dentiscope takes innovative approach to get around the disadvantages of most of the existing dental camera on the market. Instead of inserting the dental camera into the mouth, the Dino-Lite Digital Dentiscope use detachable dental mirror to reduce the sterilization concern of the camera body. The rotatable mirror holder design provides the upright image of any facet of the teeth, and give the user more instinctive view of the teeth. In the space-limited mouth, the using of dental mirror also reduce the dead space to the minimum extent.
The Dino-Lite Digital Dentiscope works with dental mirror having hexagonal handler of width between 6.5mm to 8mm. Similar to other Dino-Lite product, the Dentiscope have models of USB or TV interface. The USB model also comes with softwares, the DinoCapture for Window or DinoXcope for Mac OS.

The excitation wavelength of AM413FVT and AM413FVT2 is 395nm and 375nm respectively, and the emission filter cutoff wavelength is 425nm for both. Similar to AM413 series of DinoLite, the AM413FVT and AM413FVT2 feature with 1.3M sensor resolution.
Similar to traditional fluorescence microscopes, AM413FVT or AM413FVT2 uses a shorter wavelength light illuminate and excites the fluorescence sample, which then emits a longer wavelength fluorescence light, the image will be displaying on the computer by filtering and magnifying the fluorescence light. These innovative fluorescence digital microscopes could be applied to different applications, from medical research to crime scene micro-evidence investigation. The merit of DinoLite fluorescence portable digital microscope is listed below:
*Much lower UV light intensity needed for illuminating the sample, and so as much less threat to the observer’s eye.
*Much less heat generated on the sample.
*The dimension can be measured with the bundled software DinoCapture.
*The picture can be stored in the computer at ease.
More fluorescence digital microscopes will be introduced into the DinoLite family with different excitation and emission wavelength.

The LWD DinoLite's working distance is varied with different magnification rate, as following:
92x - 47mm
79x - 50mm
52x - 63mm
20x - 144mm
Similar to other DinoLite, the LWD DinoLite has the measurement and calibration options in the software. Other hardware options, e.g. TV output, could be offered as well.

The friendly interface of DinoXcope brings the ease of taking picture, video, time-lapsed video, measurement and calibration on a range of AnMo's digital microscope, including AM311S, AM313, AM411, AM413, AM423, and AM451 series. The DinoXcope needs to be running at Mac OS 10.4 or later, and the control over the Microtouch on some Dino-Lite models is not yet provided in this version.
